Susan Bredehoeft received her B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. She has taught preschool for more than 15 years. Susan has been at SOTH since 2004. Susan is married to her husband Dave and has a daughter, Emily, and a son, Sam. She enjoys reading, cooking, singing with the Shepherd's Chorale at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, and exercising at the recreation center.
Nancy Williams has been involved in the field of child care, education and guidance since 1969. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in English and Art education and has created developmental curriculum for both elementary and secondary schools.
Nancy's graduate studies focused on teaching through games, simulations, and projective techniques such as puppetry and masks. She has created and conducted workshops to inspire educators as well as parents and other adults to use various techniques and media to access the heart of a child within themselves and others.
Yvetta Layne received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Metropolitan State College. She has worked as a Sales Assistant for a Stock Brokerage Firm and in a school Resource Department with teens. Yvetta and her husband, Daryl, were married in 1988and they have two wonderful sons who are 16 and 18 years old. Yvetta has been working at Shepherd of the Hills since 2004 and she loves working with God’s children.
Dianna received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from Regis University in 1997. Dianna married John in 1991 and have been blessed with five children; Daniel, Dasia, Jeneva, Jacob and Annalise, who all currently attend Shepherd of the Hills. Dianna has been volunteering at SOTH since 2000 and enjoys working with children of all ages. John and Dianna have been foster parents, working with severely neglected and abused children with both Arapahoe County and Lutheran Family Services since 1999. Dianna has also been a Sunday School teacher at Shepherd of the Hills off and on for the last eight years and am currently teaches the 3 and 4 year old class. She believes children are our future and feels to be blessed to be working with the children and their families as they begin their exploration in learning about God's wonderful world. Dianna enjoys camping with her family, reading and lots of coffee!!
Janine Knippenberg is thrilled to be teaching your children this year. She is married to John who is Advertising Manager for Furniture Row Marketing. They have two teenage daughters and are members of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. Janine attended Valparaiso University in Indiana where she received a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education with a Learning Disabilities Endorsement. She has been a Resource Room teacher in Missouri and a preschool teacher here in Denver. She enjoys teaching Sunday School at SOTH as well. Janine loves children and believes that each one is a precious and unique gift from God.
